There they remained together for over 10 years transgressions smothering or conquering new tierras. In 1525 Huayna Capac died in Quito in a strange disease,  and so did Ninan Tomebamba.18 Cuyuchi but smallpox epidemic also came to Cuzco and killed two of the four correinantes of Cuzco, making it the preferred Huascar in Cuzco to take gobierno.
After being appointed by the noble Emperor Cuzco Inca Huascar was the victim of a coup fallido.14 This action caused Huascar distrust reign, and this mistrust in turn led to reign Inca nobles antipathy against Huáscar.
Worried about the close relationship between Atahualpa and the powerful Northern army, Huascar ordered him to come to Cuzco, Atahualpa was convinced by northern generals not to go because if he did would ejecutado. not sure whether it was for self-protection or ambition, but Atahualpa organized armies to take Cuzco and bring him to Huascar.
After the war Huascar was taken prisoner by the generals and Chalcuchimac Quisquis. It was battered and brought barefoot to Atahualpa. In 1533, when Atahualpa was a prisoner, ordered his execution for fear that the Spanish returned to him the throne, that is never actually see their faces since the war began.
One can understand that Atahualpa prisoner kept some control over the empire, they ordered the execution of Huascar and bring his skull was coated with gold to be used as vasija. Such an act served as an excuse to accuse him of fratricide which, in addition to charges of idolatry, adultery and others, earned him a sentence of death by burning.
The penalty of burning it was replaced by that of hanging, after being baptized in the Catholic rite. Before, when arrested, had thrown down a Bible, because it could not hear the "word of God" as a priest announced.

The Embassy of Hernando de Soto
After the war, Atahualpa went quickly to Cajamarca, where they waited for those who wanted to learn Spanish. When Atahualpa was in Los Baños del Inca, half a league from Cajamarca, Francisco Pizarro sent Hernando de Soto with 20 horsemen and an interpreter to the Inca to say that they were waiting in Cajamarca. The next day the Spanish hid in the main buildings of the Plaza cajamarqueña Incas (there were 13 Spanish) and waited anxiously. Atahualpa had never accepted the Catholic religion in a conscious way, it did so only to change their sentence; of the fire to the gallows. This is so obvious, so he threw the Bible on the floor.
The subjects who carried the litter of Atahualpa were also killed without mercy, when some fell were immediately replaced. Seeing this situation one of the Inca conquerors attempted to kill with a knife, but Francisco Pizarro prevented shortcuts (including injured his hand to do it) and ordered that "no one touched the Inca" . The carnage was complete, over 20,000 Inca soldiers died, and was also killed the lord of Chincha, a close friend of Atahualpa.
